Terms of Use

Last updated July 15, 2026

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of skylake.fi, together with any information discovery, aggregation, organization, summarization, or related features that SkyLake Global Corp. (“SkyLake,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes available and expressly links to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Our Services

SkyLake develops software intended to help people discover, organize, compare, and understand information. The Services may present source links, excerpts, metadata, classifications, summaries, or other informational material. Available features may change over time and may differ by location or device.

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature or item of content will remain available.

3. AI-assisted features

Some features may use automated systems or artificial intelligence to identify, classify, rank, translate, summarize, or explain information. Automated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or may not reflect the full meaning of the original material.

You should review the original source and independently verify important information before relying on an automated result. Where required by applicable law, we may provide notices or labels regarding the use of automated systems or AI-generated material.

4. Third-party sources and content

The Services may identify, summarize, link to, or otherwise reference information made available by third parties. Third-party content remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owner or provider. Inclusion in the Services does not imply that SkyLake sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with the source.

Third-party sources may change, remove, restrict, or correct their content without notice to us. We do not control and are not responsible for external websites, their availability, their security, or their privacy practices. Your use of an external source is governed by that source's own terms and policies.

5. Informational purposes only

Content provided through the Services is for general informational and educational purposes. It is not legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice, and it should not be treated as a recommendation to take or refrain from any action.

You are responsible for evaluating information in light of your own circumstances and for obtaining advice from a qualified professional when appropriate.

6. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, SkyLake grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable permission to access and use the Services for lawful personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • use the Services in violation of applicable law or another person's rights;
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Services or related systems;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, data, or non-public area;
  • introduce malicious code or use the Services to distribute harmful material;
  • bypass access controls, rate limits, security measures, or usage restrictions;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to derive non-public source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • misrepresent the origin of content or falsely imply endorsement by SkyLake;
  • use the Services to harass, deceive, defraud, or harm another person; or
  • use automated means to extract, reproduce, or index substantial portions of the Services without our written permission.

7. Automated access

Search engines may access publicly available pages in accordance with our published technical instructions. Other bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated agents must not access the Services in a manner that exceeds reasonable request rates, circumvents technical controls, copies substantial content, or interferes with normal operation.

We may limit or block automated access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, our users, source providers, or our rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including SkyLake's original software, design, selection, arrangement, text, graphics, and brand elements, are owned by SkyLake or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited permission granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Services is transferred to you.

References to third-party content do not transfer ownership of that content to SkyLake. All rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.

9. Rights notices

If you believe material presented through the Services infringes your rights, contact us with a description of the protected work, the relevant location in the Services, your contact information, and a statement explaining the basis of your request. We may remove or limit access to material while reviewing a notice.

10. Feedback and communications

If you send us ideas, suggestions, corrections, or other feedback, you grant SkyLake a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use that feedback for any lawful purpose without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of personal information, which is handled under our Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit skylake.fi or contact us. Additional privacy notices may apply to other features or services where appropriate.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to all or part of the Services if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, interfered with the Services, or harmed SkyLake, another user, or a third party. Where appropriate, we may also preserve information and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and miscellaneous terms.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components; that defects will be corrected; or that any content, source, summary, classification, translation, or automated output will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkyLake and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or use, arising from or related to the Services or these Terms, regardless of the legal theory and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability of SkyLake and the parties listed above for all claims arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of two hundred United States dollars (USD $200) or the amount you paid directly to SkyLake for the Services during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The limitations in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkyLake and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your infringement of another person's rights.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory law in your place of residence applies.

Before filing a formal claim, you and SkyLake agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty days after written notice is received. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be submitted to the competent courts located in Panama City, Panama, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SkyLake regarding the Services covered by them. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; SkyLake may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the relevant business. These Terms do not create any partnership, employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.
